Book Reviews Part 1

It’s no secret I love to read, and this year I’m trying to keep on track to read at least 25 books. Last year I read 35 books, so hopefully I can meet or surpass that number! I always set 25 books as a default goal for the year, a book every 2 weeks seems reasonable. I thought I’d do smaller recaps throughout the year instead of one large post at the end of the year. Overtourism and Its Effects

I love to travel. I love to explore new cities and cultures, and whenever I travel I gain a new perspective on the world; it’s like a breath of fresh air. With the advent of social media and the rise in travel professionals, it’s hard not to feel like I should be traveling more. More than my work schedule allows, to more unique places, for longer periods of time. In my current stage of life, that sort of travel just isn’t possible. And after some reflection, I’ve realized I’m okay with that.

Savannah Weekend

Two weekends ago I headed down to Savannah, Georgia with a friend. Having gone to UGA, I have a number of friends from college that live in Georgia - one of those is in Savannah! I hadn’t been to Savannah in about five years, so I knew it was time to make a visit to see friends and tour the city. I’d forgotten how much Savannah has to offer, and I’m so glad I made the trip.

Girls Weekend in the Music City
