Book Reviews Part 2

Another book review post! A majority of these books came from the two book clubs I’m in, but I mixed in other reads as well. One book club focuses on non-fiction, which I’ve really enjoyed since it gets me a little outside my normal selections. The other is more of a wine club disguised as a book club, but I do still make an effort to read the selections, as they’re often books I’m interested in anyways.

Book Reviews Part 1

It’s no secret I love to read, and this year I’m trying to keep on track to read at least 25 books. Last year I read 35 books, so hopefully I can meet or surpass that number! I always set 25 books as a default goal for the year, a book every 2 weeks seems reasonable. I thought I’d do smaller recaps throughout the year instead of one large post at the end of the year. 2017 Book Recommendations

In late 2016 I set a goal to read a number of books. I’ll be honest, I fell very short of this goal. While I read a good amount, I didn’t read many of the books on my original list. Oops. I did read Hillbilly Elegy and tried to read Victoria: A Novel of a Young Queen. I enjoyed Hillbilly Elegy, but I could not get into Victoria. (The PBS show however? Love it!).
